CLEARTEST Toxoplasmose

The CLEARTEST Toxo is a rapid test which detects both IgM and IgG toxoplasmosis antibodies in serum or plasma samples with an accuracy of 98,2 %. For this patient specimen have to be centrifuged before testing.

The CLEARTEST Toxo is a rapid test which proves individually both the IgM and IgG antibodies in whole blood, serum or plasma with an accuracy of 98,2 %.

Toxoplasmosis is a pathogen, which is transmitted through cat faeces and it is possible for a women to become ill with toxoplasmosis during pregnancy due to contact with infected animals (pets) or by food.

Statistically, within 100 pregnant women 1 of them becomes ill with an initial infection of toxoplasmosis. the risk of toxoplasmosis transmission to an unborn child exists from about sixth to tenth regnancy week. Prior to that the placenta is not permeable for parasites
