What is cross taping?
Cross taping is based on a mixture of Chinese and western medicine and is designed to regulate the body’s balance by taping trigger points, which are the acupuncture and acupressure points on the skin. It promotes circulation, increases metabolism and eases tension.
The cross taping principle
Treatment with cross tape heals the body’s ailments. It not only heals the painful area but affects the entire body by working on the body’s inner balance.
In this way, the tape does not only heal the muscles and tendons but is good for the whole body.
• The AQ Strip tape is formed like a grid which resembles the relationship the muscles within the body have with each other.
• The tape is not harmful to the body as there is no medication involved.
• The air permeability and adhesive used should not lead to an allergic reaction on the skin.
• There is no residue on the skin when removed.

The methods of application shown here are for layman use, however for increased effectiveness, the tape should be applied after diagnosis and instruction by an expert.

For pain when reclining the head
Tape above and below the right collar bone. Left of the breast bone, above the breast.
Neck pain
Tape left and right of the larynx.
Pain in the midriff
Tape left and right of the navel.
Shoulder pain
Apply tape to the areas painful to touch.
Cough
Tape left and right of the spine below the hairline as well and on the left and right shoulder as shown.
